While we are navigating through the summer months of 2021, there is a constant level of uncertainty in how our contribution to society includes the highly valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. However, it is evident that our hands-to-face ritual will continue to be part our daily routine. Rotary, however, has evolved. However, there is a certain amount of uncertainty moving to the summer of 2021. It remains to be seen how the personal connections Rotary members valued during the past will remain. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our daily routine but it's clear that the confidence of our members is increasing and we are able to make more personal relationships. Rotary, however, has evolved. Rotary's networks create relationships that last. The Pandemic was our catalyst to take on technology. The outbreak has forced us to improve our technology practices. We maintain our business online while also reintroducing our activities for service and social. In order to create a new exciting future, we've embraced this opportunity and combined them with some of our most successful pre-pandemic behaviors. It was encouraging to learn that 75 percent of Rotary clubs intend to keep their "business like usual" activities. In the summer months, many Rotary club members have been seen with their families and friends, working on various projects including river and beach cleanings and litter pick-ups. Watch this video 1.
